Terms of use

What this site is and who runs it

This site is Flash Local Citations, a directory of home and property businesses in the United States and Canada. It is free to use and needs no account. It is operated by Citation Vault LLC.

Agreeing to these terms

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy says how we handle information.

Where listings come from

Listings come from Google Business data and from business submissions. Google Business data is what a business has made public on its Google Business Profile, such as its name, address, telephone and hours. Businesses we added from Google Business data are Free Listings.

Details can be wrong or out of date. Call the business before you travel or rely on a detail here.

We do not rate or rank businesses ourselves. A listing is not an endorsement by us.

Google Reviews

Star ratings, review counts and review quotes on this site come from Google. They are labelled Google Reviews. They are the views of the people who wrote them, not ours.

Review quotes belong to their authors. We may shorten a long quote at the end of a sentence, and we mark it when we do. We do not change the words or the stars.

Ratings and quotes can be out of date or wrong. Each profile gives the month its rating was read. Check the business on Google before you rely on one.

A business owner can ask us to correct a rating or remove a quote. A reviewer can ask us to remove their quote. Email connect@flashlocalcitations.com or follow the steps on the corrections page.

Business owners

A business can ask for a free listing through the add your business page. A business owner can ask us by email to correct or remove a listing. We act on requests we can tie to the business.

If you send us details for a listing, you are responsible for keeping them accurate. Tell us when they change.

A business whose own website is dead, parked or redirected elsewhere is taken off the directory. We may also decline or remove a listing that does not fit the directory.

Featured listings

Every business can have a free listing. A business can also buy a Featured listing. Featured buys visibility only.

A Featured listing carries a plain Featured marker. It is not a rating or an endorsement. It never changes what a free listing shows.

A Featured listing is billed monthly or yearly by Citation Vault LLC, as the operator of this site. It renews until it is cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal.

We do not give refunds for unused time. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store card numbers.

Acceptable use

Use the site to look up businesses. Do not copy the site in bulk by automated means. Do not send spam to us or to the businesses listed here.

Do not pretend to be a person or a business you are not. Do not try to break, overload or get around the site's systems.

Our content and your content

The design, wording and layout of this site belong to Citation Vault LLC. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Google Reviews belong to their authors.

When you send us a correction or details for a listing, you let us use and publish them on this site. We may edit them to match how listings are written here.

Links to other sites

Listings link to each business's own website. Some pages link to other companies, such as Google and Microsoft. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate or current. We are not responsible for the work, prices or conduct of any business listed here.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Citation Vault LLC is not liable for loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on a listing. That includes a wasted trip because a detail shown was wrong. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law says cannot be taken away.
